Please note: The darker the color, the hotter the deck will feel in direct sunlight. For hotter climates, lighter colors or Trex Select® with SunComfortable™ technology can help reduce surface temperature.
*Although Trex decking with heat-mitigating technology is designed to be cooler, on hot sunny days it will still get hot. Care should be taken to avoid extended contact between exposed skin and the deck surface, especially with young children.

Is Trex Select thinner than other Trex boards?
Yes — Select boards are .82" thick compared to .94" for Transcend and Signature. They should not be combined with other Trex lines on the same deck to avoid tripping hazards.
