Heat & Sun Considerations
Please note: The darker the color, the hotter the deck will feel in direct sunlight. For hotter climates, consider lighter colors or Trex Transcend Lineage® with SunComfortable™ technology.
*Although Trex decking with heat-mitigating technology is designed to be cooler, on hot sunny days it will still get hot. Care should be taken to avoid extended contact between exposed skin and the deck surface, especially with young children.
Built for Docks & Marinas
Trex Enhance® decking isn't just for backyard decks — it thrives in harsh waterfront environments too.
Submersible
Can be fully submerged without warping, swelling, or structural compromise.
Splinter-Free
Walk barefoot with confidence — no splinters, no rough edges, ever.
Handles Harsh Conditions
Salt spray, UV exposure, and constant moisture — composite shrugs it off.

Won't absorb and radiate heat like pressure-treated lumber or traditional decking.
Low Maintenance
No sanding, staining, or sealing — just rinse and enjoy.

Trex Enhance® FAQ
What's the difference between Enhance Naturals and Enhance Basics?
Naturals features multi-tonal streaking for a more realistic wood look with greater color depth. Basics offers a clean, monochromatic finish for a more uniform appearance. Both share the same 25-year warranty and scalloped profile.
Why is Enhance the most affordable Trex line?
Enhance uses a lightweight, scalloped profile that reduces material while maintaining structural integrity. This makes it easier to handle and more affordable — without compromising on Trex's shell technology protection.
Is Enhance decking good enough for a primary deck?
Absolutely. Enhance delivers genuine Trex quality at an entry-level price. It has the same fade, stain, and mold resistance as higher tiers. The 25-year warranty backs every board.
Can I mix Enhance colors on the same deck?
You can mix Naturals and Basics colors for creative designs like borders or inlays, but keep in mind that Naturals has multi-tonal variation while Basics is monochromatic.
